Family Life
Travon’s family has always been a source of inspiration and motivation for him. Growing up with a close-knit family and support system in Thomaston, Georgia, Travon credits his family—parents Lasonia and Stead, sisters Shantel and Nikeria, and niece—for keeping him grounded and reminding him of his roots, even as he has achieved success on the football field. His parents instilled in him the importance of hard work, discipline, and perseverance from a young age, values that would serve him well in his life on and off the field. Travon wants to motivate youth in the community to embrace these strong values and equip them with the resources they need to follow their dreams and achieve their goals as he has done through football.
Travon Walker Foundation
The Travon Walker Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to helping the youth of today be where their feet are. We show young people how to use their strengths to identify, plan, and pursue their passions. The Travon Walker Foundation aims to inspire the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and community builders.
Music
Travon, who was in the band during high school, is a talented musician who plays the trombone and sings. His passion for music extends beyond the football field, showcasing his versatility and creative spirit. Balancing his athletic and musical interests, Travon continues to engage in both, demonstrating his dedication and multifaceted talents. Whether performing in a band or making impactful plays on the field, Travon’s diverse skills and interests make him a well-rounded and dynamic individual.
